With a mission to further clients’ strategic visions and goals, Allan has keen insight into accounting talent market trends, enabling him to make placements that surpass industry averages for engagement and retention.

Allan founded Premier Financial Search in 2001 with a clear vision: to build a recruiting firm grounded in integrity, discretion, and genuine partnership. His path to PFS was shaped by a diverse professional background, beginning in accounting within a professional services firm and continuing into a corporate environment at a publicly traded software company. Seeking to apply his accounting expertise in a more people-focused capacity, Allan transitioned into executive recruiting, where he quickly distinguished himself as a top-performing recruiter at a national staffing firm. Drawing on this combination of accounting, corporate, and recruiting experience, Allan identified an opportunity to deliver thoughtful, effective, and human-centered recruiting solutions to the accounting industry.

Over the years, Allan has formed a highly trusted network across the accounting and finance landscape. His work is rooted in long-term relationships, many of which span decades. Clients frequently turn to Allan not only for recruiting support, but also for strategic guidance on talent, engagement, and retention, valuing his perspective as an extension of their leadership teams.

Adept at bridging the soft skill–hard skill gap, Kayla brings to her role a rare blend of deep industry expertise and a genuine curiosity about people and how they work. After five years in the staffing division of a Top 10 accounting firm, she applies an approach grounded in active listening, asking the right questions, and engaging in meaningful dialogue, with a focus on understanding what truly matters to the people she works with. This approach allows her to make placements that create strong, lasting outcomes for both clients and candidates.

Kayla has served clients across a wide range of markets, including public and private organizations, family offices, and Fortune 500 companies, and has partnered with talent at every level, from paraprofessionals to executive leadership. With a desire to enrich the professional lives of those working in the accounting industry, Kayla takes a highly personalized, people-first approach to each conversation.

As a Principal at Premier Financial Search, Kayla plays an active role in shaping the firm’s culture by collaborating closely with her team, mentoring others, and working intentionally toward shared team goals. Her ability to clearly articulate insights, and guide teams forward makes her a trusted partner.
In addition to her specialization in accounting and finance recruiting, Kayla brings a naturally open-minded approach shaped by a diverse range of professional and personal experiences. A registered Dietitian by trade, she is also a certified yoga instructor and thoughtful leader, experiences that inform her grounded, balanced style. A seasoned traveler, Kayla has explored much of the Americas, Europe, Southeast Asia, and the United Kingdom and is currently planning her next adventure in Bali.

With nearly a decade of recruiting experience, Lauren has become skilled at connecting individuals with opportunities where they can genuinely thrive. Her work is driven by a passion for creating meaningful matches that honor both career goals and personal values, ensuring a true sense of alignment between candidates and organizations. She’s worked with a wide range of employers, giving her a strong understanding of organizational culture and talent needs.

With an accounting degree from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire, Lauren brings both technical insight and a people-first mindset to her work. She focuses on uncovering the strengths and potential of each individual, ensuring that every placement is more than a transaction; it’s a connection that elevates both the professional and the team they join. Her more recent work centers on public-to-public recruiting, where she partners closely with firms to understand their gaps and help build teams that can thrive long-term.

Beyond her role in recruiting, Lauren is active in TeamWomen, a nonprofit committed to empowering women and girls. As part of the Emerging Leaders Advisory Board, she contributes to membership and professional development initiatives and participates in the organization’s mentor/mentee program, helping others grow as she continues growing herself.

Keely Zurfluh joined Premier Financial Search in September 2022, bringing nearly 20 years of experience in accounting and finance recruiting, including time at a Top 10 accounting firm. With deep industry insight, her background gives her a practical understanding of how accounting teams operate and what it takes to run an effective search.

Keely is known for her ability to integrate recruiting with operational strategy. Keely’s approach is grounded in honesty, reliability, and a positive, solutions-focused mindset. She values efficiency, clear follow-through, and closing the loop so every step of the process moves forward with purpose. She approaches her work with a focus on structure, communication, and follow-through, ensuring that candidates, clients, and internal teams stay aligned at every stage of the process.
She was drawn to recruiting because of her desire to help professionals make informed, confident career decisions and to serve as a steady guide throughout the entire process.

Based in Wisconsin, Keely spends her time outside of work coaching youth sports, looking forward to the next beach getaway, and often awake for the sunrise. She shares a busy household with her husband and three kids and is rarely without a coffee in hand or a game schedule on her calendar.

Gabby began her career as a Big 4 public accountant at Deloitte, gaining a strong foundation in audit and firsthand insight into the pace and demands of public accounting. While she valued the rigor and learning that came with the role, she discovered her true passion centered on working with people and making a meaningful impact. This realization led her to transition into executive recruiting, where she now connects talented professionals with career-defining opportunities and helps organizations build high-performing teams.

Gabby brings four years of recruiting experience to Premier Financial Search and specializes in public accounting search across tax, audit, and business management. She partners with professionals ranging from Senior-level to Partner. Known for her candidate-first, firm-aware approach, Gabby understands practice needs and career paths, aligning expectations to deliver strong, long-term results.

Outside of work, Gabby enjoys spending time outdoors, whether walking with her husband and their dog, Sunny, hiking in U.S. National Parks, or training for her next half or full marathon. Fun fact: Gabby got married in Glacier National Park, a destination that perfectly reflects her love of adventure and the outdoors.

Erika Drucker is a self-described “born connector.” Whether in a personal or professional setting, her ability to connect authentically, build long-lasting relationships, and communicate effectively has been a proven differentiator throughout her career. With a naturally inquisitive approach and a warm disposition, Erika creates space for candid conversations, allowing clients and candidates to be honest about their goals, aspirations, and any obstacles they face.

Before joining PFS, Erika built a successful career in real estate and property management. That experience shapes her approach today, allowing her to navigate complex relationships, manage expectations, and deliver a high level of service. During her time in property management, she quickly rose through the ranks to become Business Manager, leveraging her ability to work with diverse personalities and thrive in fast-paced, high-expectation environments. While at Legacy Partners Residential, Erika received the Assistant Business Manager of the Year Award and the Business Manager of the Year Award.

Erika is a mother to two beautiful humans and one dog named Violet. When not connecting with people in a professional capacity, she loves to cook, exercise and spend time with family and friends.

Abby began her career with nearly six years in public accounting, starting at KPMG before continuing her work at a national CPA firm, where she gained hands-on experience advising clients and navigating the complexities of the accounting profession. Through this work, she developed a deep understanding of the technical demands, career paths, and culture within public accounting. While she valued the rigor and growth that came with the profession, she discovered that what energized her most was working closely with people and guiding them through important career decisions.

Today, Abby brings her industry knowledge and a relationship-focused mindset to her work in accounting and finance recruiting. With firsthand experience in public accounting, she understands the nuances of the profession and builds authentic connections with both candidates and clients. Known for her thoughtful, results-driven style, she is passionate about helping professionals grow while supporting organizations in building high-performing teams.

Away from her desk, Abby enjoys spending time outdoors and exploring new places with her husband and dog, Stella. Her love for travel and adventure began during a semester abroad in Ireland, where she met her husband and traveled throughout Europe. More recently, the two celebrated their honeymoon exploring Vietnam.

Gray serves as Executive Assistant to the President of Premier Financial Search, where she plays a critical role in keeping searches moving forward smoothly and efficiently. With a strong command of process and logistics, Gray supports Allan and the PFS team by coordinating client and candidate interviews, managing scheduling complexities, and ensuring every step of the recruiting process is streamlined and results-driven.

Prior to joining Premier Financial Search, Gray built a strong human resources foundation at a fast-growing start-up in the Philippines, where she advanced from HR Generalist to HR Manager within her first year. In that role, she oversaw core HR functions, improved internal workflows, and partnered closely with senior leadership. That experience now carries into her role at PFS, where her understanding of people and process ensures interviews stay organized, timelines stay intact, and nothing falls through the cracks.

Her calm, steady approach and commitment to kind, responsive communication make her a reliable point of support to clients, candidates, and internal team members.
Outside of work, Gray prioritizes time with her kids and family, enjoying the moments that slow life down and recharge her. That sense of presence and care naturally carries into the way she supports her team and the people she works with.
