Ashleigh McDonald

Executive Recruiter

Ashleigh McDonald came to Premier Financial Search as an executive recruiter in August of 2026. She is transferring into the recruiting world with years of experience in cultivating relationships, building trust, working across various personalities, and helping people succeed. She understands that recruiting is more than just matching a resume to a job title and uses her strong, determined personality to ensure the best outcomes for people.

Prior to PFS, Ashleigh has had many years of experience in the sports and fitness world with an emphasis on basketball. She has played, coached at the school and AAU level, and directed AAU organizations. With several championship titles under her belt, Ashleigh is a high achiever in every sense of the word, with her latest title being a district championship and going undefeated in the 2025-2026 season. In her time as a school ball coach, she also served as a Federal Compliance Specialist and Discipline Administrator. These roles required extreme attention to detail, attentiveness, and urgency, and most of all the ability to work with people of all different backgrounds and abilities. Ashleigh also owns her own fitness company that trains many young athletes in the off-season, as she understands that it’s the little things you are doing that add up to the big things when it matters most.

Ashleigh is motivated by helping others and seeing others “win”. With a highly competitive background, she finds the most joy in helping others realize and reach their full potential. Ashleigh’s ability to connect with people, build trust, and motivate people makes her most successful when working with others. She brings an energy that makes others want to win as well. Ashleigh lives by the quote that “hard work beats talent when talent refuses to work hard.”

In her spare time, Ashleigh has five kids (all boys), and they all play school and travel sports, so you can find her at a ballfield or the basketball court cheering them on. She still owns her training business and enjoys time with her clients in the gym. She loves college sports and a good tailgate: mostly football, baseball, and basketball. She’s been married to her high school crush for 17 years and also has 4 dogs.
