A nationally recognized public accounting and advisory firm is seeking a Tax Senior to join its collaborative and people-focused team. What You’ll Do

• Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and other business entities.
• Communicate directly with clients to gather information, answer tax-related questions, and provide exceptional client service.
• Assist with tax planning, projections, tax notices, and other tax compliance matters.
• Research tax law developments and identify their impact on client engagements.
• Prepare and review tax accrual workpapers and resolve review comments efficiently.
• Assist with federal and state tax notices, audits, and regulatory inquiries.
• Collaborate with partners, managers, and specialists to resolve technical tax issues.
• Mentor and support junior staff while contributing to training and knowledge sharing.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, ethics, and client confidentiality.
• Meet established billable hour goals and project deadlines while managing multiple engagements.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA license preferred or actively pursuing CPA certification (150-hour requirement completed).
• 2–5 years of recent public accounting tax experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and federal and state tax regulations.
• Experience in preparing complex business and individual tax returns.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and tax preparation software.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Salary: $90,000 – $115,000 (DOE)
