A nationally recognized public accounting and advisory firm is seeking a Tax Senior Associate to join its growing Financial Services tax practice. This opportunity is ideal for a tax professional who enjoys working with sophisticated investment structures while building expertise in the alternative investment industry.

You’ll collaborate with experienced professionals on complex tax engagements for private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, real estate funds, private credit funds, and other alternative investment vehicles. What You’ll Do

• Prepare and review tax returns for partnerships, corporations, and other business entities, including Forms 1065, 1120, and 1120-S.
• Assist with the review process to ensure tax returns are accurate, complete, and timely.
• Perform financial analysis, including reviewing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial data.
• Research tax issues and apply federal and state tax regulations to client engagements.
• Collaborate with managers and partners to resolve complex tax matters.
• Work with engagement teams to meet deadlines across multiple client engagements.
• Utilize tax compliance and research software to prepare, review, and analyze tax filings.
• Participate in special projects and provide support on a variety of financial services tax engagements.
• Build strong client relationships through responsive communication and exceptional client service.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• CPA license or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam.
• 3+ years of public accounting tax experience.
• Experience preparing and reviewing partnership and corporate tax returns.
• Financial Services experience preferred, particularly with alternative investment funds.
• Strong partnership taxation experience preferred.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and tax preparation software.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Salary: $80,000 – $115,000 (DOE)
