A top-ranked independent public accounting and advisory firm is seeking a Tax Senior to join its growing tax practice. This opportunity is ideal for a tax professional who enjoys reviewing complex tax returns, mentoring staff, and working directly with clients across a diverse range of industries.

What You’ll Do

• Review tax returns for partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, individuals, and other business entities.
• Prepare tax returns as needed based on engagement requirements and experience level.
• Research tax issues and provide practical solutions to clients and engagement teams.
• Respond to client tax questions and gather information necessary to complete tax compliance engagements.
• Assist with tax notices, examinations, and other tax authority inquiries.
• Identify opportunities to provide additional tax and advisory services to clients.
• Collaborate with managers and partners on complex tax engagements.
• Mentor, train, and support staff accountants and interns.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and communication.
• Manage multiple engagements while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• CPA eligible (150 credit hours completed) or actively pursuing CPA certification.
• 2+ years of public accounting tax experience, preferably with a mid-sized public accounting firm.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing business and individual tax returns.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Passion for client service and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client sites and office locations as needed.

Salary: $77,000 – $95,000 (DOE)
