This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing multiple moving pieces with precision, communicates confidently with clients, and proactively identifies and resolves issues before they become challenges.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the end-to-end tracking of tax return progress across the business client portfolio.
  • Maintain real-time dashboards and status reports to provide visibility into workflow and project progress.
  • Identify and resolve workflow bottlenecks before they impact deadlines or client service.
  • Continuously improve standardized processes for tracking, reporting, and client communication.
  • Track and communicate client tax payment deadlines throughout the year, providing proactive reminders and updates.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries regarding tax return status, deadlines, and payment schedules.
  • Lead client onboarding, including setup and training for client portals and workflow systems.
  • Schedule and facilitate regular check-in meetings with clients and internal team members.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date client records across internal systems.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in public accounting, finance, or another fast-paced professional services environment.
  • Proven ability to manage high volumes of work and move information with exceptional accuracy and organization.
  • Strong project and deadline management skills, with the ability to identify and address issues proactively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, client-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and make decisions within the scope of the role.
  • Proficiency with workflow management tools, Microsoft Excel, and client-facing software platforms.
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Why Join This Opportunity?

  • Fully remote position with the flexibility to work from anywhere.
  • Opportunity to play a vital role in the success of a growing tax practice.
  • Collaborative team environment that values trust, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Meaningful opportunities to contribute ideas, improve processes, and grow professionally.
  • Supportive leadership that encourages ownership, initiative, and long-term career development.
