Join a collaborative CPA firm where your technical expertise, leadership, and client-first mindset will be valued. As a Tax Manager, you’ll oversee complex tax engagements, provide strategic guidance to clients, and play an integral role in developing both your team and the firm’s tax practice.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of client relationships by providing proactive tax planning, consulting, and compliance services.
  • Review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, estates, and other business entities while ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Prepare complex tax returns and provide technical support on specialized client engagements as needed.
  • Lead engagement teams by planning assignments, reviewing work, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Research technical tax issues and develop practical, value-driven solutions for clients.
  • Identify tax planning opportunities that help clients achieve their financial and business objectives.
  • Mentor, train, and develop senior associates, associates, and staff accountants through coaching, technical guidance, and performance feedback.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership to improve processes, strengthen client relationships, and support practice growth.
  • Stay informed on changes in tax laws and regulations to provide timely guidance and recommendations.

What We’re Looking For

  • Active CPA license required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a closely related field; Master’s degree in Taxation (MST) is a plus.
  • 6+ years of public accounting tax experience.
  • Strong experience managing client relationships and leading engagement teams.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of tax planning, compliance, and technical tax matters.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding client service while fostering a collaborative team environment.

Salary: $125,000 – $165,000 (DOE)
