A well-established public accounting and business advisory firm is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join its leadership team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned tax professional who enjoys serving as a trusted advisor, leading complex client engagements, mentoring high-performing teams, and contributing to the continued growth of a collaborative practice.

The firm provides personalized accounting, tax, payroll, and business advisory services to business owners, executives, independent professionals, and high-net-worth individuals, with a strong emphasis on professionalism, responsiveness, and long-term client relationships.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and review complex tax engagements for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, estates, and closely held businesses.
• Develop and implement strategic tax planning solutions that help clients achieve their financial and business objectives.
• Serve as the primary advisor for a portfolio of clients, building long-term relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
• Research complex tax matters and provide practical guidance on evolving tax laws and regulations.
• Oversee engagement planning, budgeting, workflow management, and timely delivery of high-quality work.
• Mentor, coach, and develop managers, seniors, and staff accountants through technical guidance, performance feedback, and career development.
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships through additional tax, accounting, and advisory services.
• Collaborate with firm leadership on practice initiatives, process improvements, and business development opportunities.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new team members.

What We’re Looking For

• Active CPA license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a closely related field; Master’s degree in Taxation preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive public accounting tax experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Strong experience serving privately held businesses, business owners, executives, and high-net-worth individuals.
• Demonstrated expertise in tax planning, consulting, and compliance.
• Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements while leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and client service skills.
• Strong leadership, project management, and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency with professional tax software, tax research platforms, and Microsoft Office.

Salary: $165,000 – $210,000 (DOE)
