A respected public accounting and advisory firm is seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join its growing tax practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional who enjoys working closely with clients, tackling complex tax matters, and collaborating with a team that values technical excellence, professional development, and exceptional client service.

In this role, you’ll work with privately held businesses, high-net-worth individuals, and entrepreneurial clients across a variety of industries, providing thoughtful tax solutions and helping clients achieve their financial goals.

Your Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts, and estates.
• Research tax legislation and technical issues to support compliance and planning strategies.
• Assist clients with tax planning, projections, and year-round advisory services.
• Build trusted relationships by providing timely communication and practical tax guidance.
• Review work prepared by associates and provide coaching to support their technical and professional growth.
• Assist with tax notices, audits, and correspondence with taxing authorities.
• Identify planning opportunities and recommend value-added tax and advisory services.
• Collaborate with managers and partners to deliver high-quality client engagements.
• Manage multiple projects while ensuring deadlines and quality expectations are consistently met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a closely related field.
• CPA license or active progress toward CPA certification preferred.
• 3+ years of recent public accounting tax experience.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns.
• Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and professional tax software.

Salary: $95,000 – $120,000 (DOE)
