An established business management and advisory firm is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join its growing team. This opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys managing day-to-day financial activities, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional service to a diverse portfolio of clients.

Working closely with accountants, business managers, and clients, you’ll play an important role in maintaining accurate financial information while helping clients stay organized and informed about their financial operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for a portfolio of individual and business clients.
  • Record financial transactions and maintain accurate general ledger activity.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, loans, and other balance sheet accounts.
  • Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
  • Generate financial reports and assist with budgeting and cash flow tracking.
  • Communicate with clients regarding financial transactions, supporting documentation, and account activity.
  • Collaborate with internal team members to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably within a public accounting, business management, or professional services environment.
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and general accounting practices.
  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of accuracy, discretion, and attention to detail.

Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 (DOE)
