Bookkeeper

Location: Los Angeles, CA 90067 (Remote)

A client-focused CPA firm is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records for its clients. This position may be performed remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Record and categorize financial transactions
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledgers
  • Assist with payroll processing and sales tax filings
  • Support month-end close and prepare basic financial reports
  • Communicate with clients to resolve discrepancies and obtain documentation

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience
  • Previous bookkeeping experience within a CPA firm is preferred
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
  • Understanding of general accounting and reconciliation procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

Salary: Up to $65,000 (DOE)
