Tax Manager

We are partnered with a growing firm seeking a Tax Manager to lead tax compliance and planning for high-net-worth individuals and business clients. This is an opportunity to take ownership of client relationships, ensure accurate filings, and identify strategies that drive meaningful tax savings.
In this role, you’ll oversee tax preparation and review, stay current on evolving tax laws, and guide clients through audits and strategic planning. You’ll also work closely with technology and AI-focused teams to improve workflows and deliver better outcomes for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual, partnership, corporate, and trust tax returns
- Manage client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for tax matters
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver a high-quality client experience
- Conduct technical tax research and provide practical solutions
- Identify opportunities to reduce tax liability through proactive planning
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Support entity structuring and multi-state tax planning
Bonus:
- Help grow the client base through referrals, networking, and outbound efforts
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA or EA preferred
- 5+ years of public accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of individual and pass-through entity taxation
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment
Salary: $115,000 – $170,000 per year
