Cost Accountant

Ready to make an impact beyond the numbers? We’re looking for an experienced Cost Accountant who can turn complex cost and inventory data into meaningful business insights.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead
- Complete inventory reconciliations and reserve analyses
- Analyze manufacturing and purchase price variances
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities
- Prepare analyses related to inventory, margins, and operational performance
- Partner with operations and supply chain teams to improve costing accuracy
- Support audits and help strengthen accounting processes and internal controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- At least five years of progressive accounting experience
- Cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, standard costing, GAAP, and variance analysis
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across departments
- NetSuite experience is a plus
- CPA designation is preferred
Position Details
- Location: Hybrid (Valencia, CA 91355)
- Salary: $85,000 – $100,000 annually (DOE)
