Tax Senior Manager

Our client is seeking a Tax Senior Manager to lead and oversee the tax review process, focusing primarily on real estate partnerships. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling complex tax work and managing high-level client relationships. This is an exciting opportunity to work with sophisticated clients and contribute to a thriving, fast-paced practice.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage tax engagements, with a primary focus on real estate partnerships.
• Review complex tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to sophisticated clients, identifying opportunities to maximize tax efficiency.
• Oversee and mentor tax staff, ensuring high-quality work and providing technical guidance.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on tax matters.
• Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate relevant updates to clients and the team.
• Collaborate with partners and other departments to support client needs and contribute to the firm’s growth.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s in Taxation or CPA designation strongly preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on real estate partnerships and complex tax work.
• Exceptional technical knowledge of partnership taxation and multi-state tax issues.
• Proven ability to manage sophisticated client relationships and deliver exceptional service.
• Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with the ability to guide and develop staff.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with tax software and research tools (e.g., CCH, ProSystem fx, etc.).

Salary: $220,000 + OT + bonus
