Our client is seeking a Tax Manager to lead and manage complex tax engagements while mentoring and developing junior team members. Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee tax engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients, including high-net-worth individuals, real estate partnerships, and professional service firms.
• Review complex tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services tailored to each client’s unique needs.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on tax and financial matters.
• Mentor and guide staff members, fostering their technical development and professional growth.
• Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations, communicating relevant updates to clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate with partners and other departments to support the firm’s growth initiatives and client service goals.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s in Taxation or CPA designation strongly preferred).
• 6+ years of experience in public accounting, with expertise in managing tax engagements for a diverse client base.
• Strong knowledge of partnership taxation, individual taxation, and real estate tax matters.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with a client-centric approach.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor staff while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with tax software and research tools (e.g., CCH, ProSystem fx, or similar platforms).

Salary: $140,000 + OT + bonus
