Our client, a boutique three-partner firm in West Los Angeles, is looking for a Tax Manager to join their 25-person team. This firm serves an exclusive client base—including two multi-billionaires in the entertainment industry—offering complex, sophisticated work without the burnout. Responsibilities:

• Oversee tax review engagements for high-net-worth individuals.
• Review complex tax returns to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations specific to the industry.
• Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services tailored to each client’s financial situation and goals.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on tax and financial matters.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop staff, fostering professional growth and maintaining high-quality work.
• Stay up to date on evolving tax regulations that may impact clients and communicate relevant updates effectively.
• Collaborate with partners and internal teams to support the firm’s strategic initiatives and ensure seamless client service.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s in Taxation or CPA preferred).
• 6+ years of experience in public accounting, specializing in tax review and advisory services.
• Should have experience in Business Management tax or working with HNW individuals
• Strong technical expertise in individual, partnership, and corporate taxation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client trust.
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities with a collaborative and solutions-focused mindset.
• Proficiency in tax software and research tools (e.g., CCH, ProSystem fx).

Salary: $130,000 – $170, 000
