Audit and Accounting Senior/Supervisor

Our client is seeking an Audit and Accounting Senior/Supervisor to lead and oversee audit, review, and compilation engagements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with closely held businesses, particularly in the real estate and professional services industries, and possess the leadership skills necessary to guide staff and build client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage audit, review, and compilation engagements for closely held businesses.
• Oversee all phases of engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and report preparation.
• Review client financial statements and ensure they comply with regulatory standards and best practices.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, ensuring high-quality work and fostering their professional development.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional service and addressing financial concerns proactively.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and make recommendations for more efficient workflows.
• Stay updated on industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes relevant to the real estate and professional services sectors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA designation strongly preferred).
• 4+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on audits, reviews, and compilations.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience working with clients in real estate and professional services is highly desirable.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with accounting software.

Salary: $140,000 + OT + bonus
