Construction Senior Tax Manager 

There is enormous potential for growth and advancement in your accounting career.  This position involves leading a team of income tax and assurance professionals within construction industry service offerings, working directly with business owners and their staff; providing tax and accounting advice, managing staff and working alongside assurance staff on construction industry individual and business clients. Position offers professional growth to management within our firm.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and reviewing a variety of income tax returns for multiple clients including, S Corporations, LLC’s, C corporations and individuals.
• Demonstrating experience and passion for the construction industry.
• Identifying tax planning and consulting opportunities.
• Experience working alongside assurance professionals producing audits, reviews and related financial statements.
• Developing a relationship with and maintaining contact with clients.
• Proactively communicating with and managing other staff assigned to the projects.
• Working on complex accounting and/ or tax issues.
• Mentoring and training staff.
• Serving as a resource for the partners and principals on construction industry tax accounting.

Requirements:

• Education:
• MS in Taxation, MPA or BS in Accounting; CPA certification is required.
• Experience: 8-11 years of public accounting experience
• Technical Skills: CCH Engagement and ProSystems Tax software (a plus).
• Client Focused: Working directly with construction industry tax clients, high net worth individuals, and business owners.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical Skills: Project management skills.
• Remote Work: Experience working in a remote environment, with strong time management and self-discipline skills.

Salary: $150,000 – $175, 000
